What a wonderful two days we had at our Paddington the Musical Summer Workshop!
Over the course of the workshop, our young performers stepped into the world of Paddington and brought this much-loved story to life through acting, singing and dancing. From learning choreography and songs to developing characters and working together as an ensemble, there was plenty of fun, laughter and creativity along the way.
Our performers worked incredibly hard throughout the two days, learning a full musical in a very short space of time. It was amazing to see their confidence grow as they began to bring the characters and scenes together, and even more special to see everyone supporting one another as a team.
The workshop finished with a special performance for family and friends, giving our performers the chance to showcase everything they had worked so hard on. We couldn't have been prouder of them!
A huge well done to every single performer who took part. Whether they were singing their hearts out, dancing their socks off or making the audience laugh with their acting, everyone played an important part in making the workshop such a success.
We'd also like to say a huge thank you to all of the parents and families who supported the workshop, helped their children learn their lines and songs, and came along to watch the final performance. Your support means so much to us.
At Legends Theatre School, we love creating opportunities for young people to perform, make friends, build confidence and most importantly, have fun — and our Paddington workshop was a perfect example of that.
