To ensure every student receives the right level of challenge, we divide our rehearsals into two core groups:

• The Juniors (Reception – Year 6): Focusing on building foundational skills, sparking imagination, and developing stage confidence through age-appropriate material.

• The Seniors (Year 7 – Year 13): Diving deeper into advanced technique, complex choreography, and sophisticated scene work to prepare students for higher-level performance.

During rehearsals, groups often split to work on specific numbers tailored to their developmental stage. We believe in pushing our students to reach their full potential, ensuring they are constantly growing as performers.

Our Promise: Everyone Has a Part to Play. At Legends, we don’t believe in "background" performers. In our productions, every single student is given lines to learn and multiple songs and dances to perform. We are committed to giving every child their moment to shine.

In addition to our main show rehearsals, we offer a dedicated Performance Team open to all students. This group focuses on developing new musical theatre numbers and specialised projects outside of our annual production material.

The Performance Team represents Legends at local community events, charity fundraisers, and national competitions throughout the year.

Flexibility & Rehearsals

We understand that families have busy schedules, so the Performance Team is designed to be flexible. Rehearsals are scheduled based on upcoming events, and participation is opt-in. This allows students to choose which specific performances and projects they would like to join based on their interest and availability.
